Last night we gathered to say a big thank you to the wonderful artists who designed and painted our hut’s new “Love Your World” mural — Christine Conlin and Peter Ward.
The mural has already brought so much joy to our community, transforming the Scout Hut exterior with colour, creativity and a message that speaks to everyone who passes by: love your world, look after it, be proud of where you live.
To recognise their amazing contribution, Christine and Peter were each presented with:
A certificate of thanks
A Beaver Scout Creative Activity Badge
And a thoughtful surprise gift from the group
The moment was marked with three cheers and loud applause from Beavers, leaders, families and friends. It was a heartfelt celebration of kindness, creativity and community spirit.
We absolutely love the mural — and so does the community! If you haven’t seen it yet, pop by the hut for a look.

Thank you once again, Christine and Peter — your creativity will inspire young people and our community for years to come.
