Beavers in Allerton L19 – Weekly Fun & Friendship (Ages 6–8)

Welcome to the 25th Allerton Beaver Colony

Here children aged 6 to 8 in Allerton, Grassendale, and beyond gather every Tuesday at The Scout Hut, St Mary’s Church.

Whether you are joining us for the first time or taking your second step after Squirrels we want to offer you a warm welcome. We serve the families in Garston, Aigburth and South Liverpool but welcome those from further afield.

Here you will meet other adventurous Beavers aged 6 to 8 and join a small, friendly “lodge” of new friends who laugh, play and learn together, all while discovering just how big and exciting the world can be.

Every badge earned, song sung and game played helps Beavers grow in confidence, kindness and curiosity, qualities that last far beyond a Tuesday evening in the hall.

Our programme is a colourful mix of outdoor adventures and hands‑on creativity.

One week we might be building bug hotels in the bushes and woods; the next we’re whipping up campfire smores, designing a good‑deeds jar or racing through a three‑legged obstacle course. Whatever the activity, Beavers are always mastering new skills, helping others and realising that “giving it a go” is half the fun.

You can relax knowing your child is in safe, capable hands. All of our leaders are trained, DBS‑checked volunteers who follow The Scout Association’s robust safety and safeguarding policies, and we keep our sessions inclusive and affordable so every family feels welcome.
