A Colourful Celebration of Our Go Green Project in South Liverpool

We’re so excited to unveil our brand new ‘Love Your World’ nature mural at the 25th Allerton Scout Hut — a joyful highlight of our ongoing Go Green Project in Grassendale, South Liverpool.

This beautiful mural brings colour, creativity and environmental care to the heart of our Scout community — and it wouldn’t have been possible without some truly special people.

A Gift of Time, Talent and Heart 💚

A huge thank you goes to Peter Ward and Christine Conlin, who designed and painted the mural with love, imagination and an incredible sense of community spirit.

🎨 Pete is a former art teacher, now a deputy head, and one of the founding members of the Cressington Wombles.
🖌️ Christine is a Beaver mum, ex art teacher, professional sign writer — and also a proud Womble!

Together, they generously gave up their Bank Holiday weekend to bring this project to life for our young people and families.

More Than Just Paint 🎨🌱

The result is a vibrant, storybook-bright mural that celebrates our connection to nature and encourages everyone who passes by to pause, smile and reflect.
