Scouts Get Creative — The Legends Behind Our Patrol Mascots

The Scout Hut was buzzing with imagination last night as our Scouts began creating the backstories for their four patrol mascots — each one unique, hilarious and proudly their own

🧀 The Marmite Mac and Cheese Dragons
🏀 Sebron James
🦔 The Armoured Armadillos

Working in their patrols, the Scouts spent the evening researching, writing and sketching ideas for their mascots — thinking about where they came from, what they stand for and how they might inspire the next generation of Scouts.

Over the next few weeks, they’ll be developing stories, songs, slogans and a full presentation to showcase in December. It’s going to be creative, a bit chaotic and definitely full of laughs!

We can’t wait to see what they come up with — and we’ll be sharing their creations online later this year for everyone to enjoy.

This project will give each patrol a story to carry forward for years to come — maybe even the next 75 years of our proud Scouting history.
