Glow Sticks, Giggles & Giving Back! ✨🎉
A huge cheer for our small (but mighty!) Fundraising Team
They may be few, but wow — they’ve got glow!
Since March 2022, our Fundraising Team has raised a whopping ÂŁ8,300+ to support adventures, badges, kit and more. Their secret? Enthusiasm, creativity... and maybe a little sugar.
Their latest bright idea? A Glow Party Disco to wrap up the summer term — the church hall lit up with neon lights, dancing, music and glow sticks galore. Young people danced their socks off (and maybe a few leaders did too).
Tried & True (and Totally Brilliant)
Our team now puts on two annual favourites:
🌸 Plant & Cake Sale – blooms, bakes and bargains every April
🍫 Chocolate Tombola – a sweet hit at St Mary’s Christmas Fair
Plus bonus fun like:
🥞 Pancake flipping (and flipping again)
📦 Matchbox fill challenge (tiny boxes, huge effort!)
🧠Family Quiz Night (brains AND biscuits provided)
