Cubs Raise £900 for The Whitechapel Centre! 💚
We’re bursting with pride to share that our 25th Allerton Cub Scouts have raised an incredible £900 for The Whitechapel Centre — all as part of their Community Impact Badge.
The badge challenges young people to make a real difference in their community, and our Cubs took that to heart. They spent time learning about homelessness in Liverpool, what support is available, and how organisations like The Whitechapel Centre provide vital help to people who need it most.
Then came the action! The Cubs set about fundraising with real energy and care their commitment, creativity and compassion shone through at every step.
“It really made me think about what it would be like to have nowhere to go,” said one Cub. “We wanted to help people feel safe.”
The money raised will go directly to supporting The Whitechapel Centre’s important work, offering shelter, advice and a fresh start for those experiencing homelessness across Liverpool. You can learn more about what they do here: www.whitechapelcentre.co.uk
