We’re turning 75 in 2026 and we couldn’t be more excited!
This milestone gives us a special opportunity to look back, celebrate the present, and dream big for the future. Over the coming months, we’ll be sharing our journey through a whole host of activities: from celebration events and camps, to exploring our rich history, creating special badges, and collecting stories from the generations who’ve made 25th Allerton what it is today.
Back in 1951, Rev Eric Clarkson, then curate at St Mary’s Church Grassendale, and Gordon Savin, our first Group Scout Leader, brought 25th Allerton to life. We began meeting in the church hall before building our very own Scout hut, right alongside. You can find more about our beginnings on our HISTORY page.
As we prepare to celebrate, we’ll be keeping you updated every step of the way. And we’d love your help!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who’s already reached out with photos, keepsakes, and stories. If you were once part of the 25th Allerton Scout Group, or know someone who was, we’d love to hear from you.

Where are you now? What do you remember? Whether it’s a funny moment, a favourite camp, or a life-long friendship, your memories are a part of our story—and we’d be honoured to share them.
Here’s to 75 years of adventure, friendship, and community… and the next 75 still to come!
