🛒 Supermarket Sweep – Beaver Style!
Our Beaver Scouts took on Ahmeek’s £1 Challenge at ALDI this week — and they absolutely smashed it!
Working together in their lodges, each young person brought £1 to spend on food items for St Mary’s Pantry. The mission? Think like a team, plan a simple meal, and choose items that would help someone else — not just themselves (which, let’s be honest, is pretty tough when you’re 6 years old and standing next to the chocolate aisle!).
It was a real challenge in budgeting, teamwork and empathy — and we’re so proud of what they achieved. Every tin, packet and thoughtful choice will make a difference to someone in our community.
Well done Beavers – you’re small in size but big in heart! 💚
