Nothing matters more than safety. At 25th Allerton, our Safeguarding Policy makes sure every child and young person can enjoy Scouting in a safe and caring environment.

It follows The Scout Association’s national policy and includes the Yellow Card Code of Conduct, which every adult in Scouting must follow. Key points include:

  • Always putting young people’s welfare first

  • Treating everyone with respect and fairness

  • Never tolerating bullying, abuse or discrimination

  • Avoiding being alone with young people where not appropriate

  • Reporting concerns immediately and appropriately

We make safeguarding everyone’s responsibility. All volunteers are trained, and we encourage families to raise concerns if they ever feel something is not right.
