What a weekend. Our Scout Troop joined fellow groups from across the Liverpool South District for the Winter Weekend in Conwy, and from the moment they arrived, the adventure was on.

Here's a taste of what they got up to:

🚵 Mountain biking by the reservoir — pedalling through stunning North Wales scenery with the kind of views you simply don't get on a Tuesday night at the hut

🔍 Scavenger hunting — sharp eyes, teamwork and a healthy dose of competitiveness out in the open air

🌭 Outdoor hotdogs — because everything tastes better cooked outside, in the cold, with friends you've only just met

And plenty more besides.

One of the best things about district events like this is the chance to meet Scouts from other groups — different faces, different stories, the same Scouting spirit. New friendships were made this weekend that we hope will last long after the campfire smoke clears.

A huge thank you to our leaders for giving our Scouts this fantastic experience — the planning, the travelling, the early mornings and the late nights don't go unnoticed, and our young people are all the better for it.

And a very special thank you to District Damian for organising such a brilliant weekend. Events like this are what make being part of a district so special — Scouting is always bigger and better together. 🙌
