We have been bursting to share this one.

From Tuesday 15th April, 25th Allerton Scout Group will officially open its second Cub Pack, meeting every Wednesday at 7pm.

This isn't something we planned lightly — it's something our community made happen. The demand has been extraordinary. Our Monday Cubs have been oversubscribed for some time, and the waiting list kept growing. Family after family wanting the same thing: a safe, fun, adventurous space for their 8 to 10 year olds to grow, make friends and discover what they're capable of.

So we listened. And now we're opening the doors — twice a week. 🚪🚪

Already fully booked. Already with a waiting list.

Yes, really. The Wednesday pack is already full before it has even met for the first time — and the combined Wednesday and Monday waiting list means demand is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down.

If that tells you anything, it's this: Scouting in L19 is thriving.

100+ children. Let that sink in.

This milestone means that more than 100 girls and boys are now attending 25th Allerton Scout Group each week — from our youngest Squirrels all the way through to our Scout Troop and Young Leaders.

One hundred young people. One hundred sets of #SkillsForLife being built, week by week, badge by badge, adventure by adventure. 💛

We are so incredibly proud of every single one of them.

None of this happens without our volunteers

A second Cub Pack means more leaders stepping up — and step up they have. A heartfelt thank you to every member of our Cubs teams, on both Monday and Wednesday, who give their time freely so that children across Allerton, Cressington and Grassendale get experiences that will stay with them for life.

Volunteers like ours are the reason this group is what it is. We couldn't do any of it without you.

If your child is on the waiting list — thank you for your patience. We are working hard to make sure every child who wants to be a Scout gets their chance.
